Judy Moody Goes to College by Megan McDonald

georgetomreader3000: 'After a few fun-filled weeks she is invited to college where her brain is invaded by mathematical knowledge'

In this book
Judy Moody goes to college
and her brain gets filled
with mathematical knowledge.

And when her teacher is sent to Italy
with a broken foot
she hates the supply teacher so much
she'd rather eat a boot!

Her new teacher Ms Grossman
is crazy over sweets.
If the children did well in that lesson
she dished them out as little treats.

When she met her tutor Chloe
whose mathematical brain
also had an excellent fashion sense
which she could retain.

After a few fun-filled weeks
she is invited to college
where her brain is invaded
by mathematical knowledge.

When Mr Todd their teacher returns
on that fabulous day
she doesn't need a tutor any more
though she wants to stay.

You see dear reader it all began when
he gave them a test,
they didn't try at all
because they wanted a rest.

When Judy began to brag
about her mood–changing toes,
the others stared longingly
as they wanted to go.

Soon a trip was organised
to pay a visit to Chloe in college,
where all their brains were invaded
with mathematical knowledge.

Their favourite part, of course
CRUNCH CRUNCH
(even though it was healthy)
was lunch.

Judy also got a rosette
and it all began
when Judy drew a pop art picture
of a tomato soup can.

And that is the story of
how Judy went to college
and how her brain was overtaken
with mathematical knowledge.
