Flying

I revel in the swooping sensation
Of gliding through this
Sea of silver-white candyfloss
The rhythmic swaying
Calms my sense of consciousness
And I remember the times
I gave up on my being
And my soul laughs
At the idea of leaving
When you can float with faeries
Through pearly mist
Above all earthly notions
Higher than mundane
Worldly worries
Separate
On my still layers of cloud
