Secrets by Jacqueline Wilson – review

AgentRedfort: 'It is a very enjoyable read and in some places very gripping'

Secrets by Jacqueline Wilson is the diary of two totally different girls from totally different backgrounds that end up becoming best friends and sharing a magnificent secret for a very long time.

First we meet Treasure, a tom-boy with asthma and a big, ugly scar (you will learn about that if you read it). Then we meet India, the rich girl who has no friends (until she meets Treasure), who has a mum that wants her to go on a diet she can never stick to and a dad with many secrets.

This book I feel would be best for ten year olds and over. It is a very enjoyable read and in some places very gripping! So if you are a girl and you are looking for a good read, Jacqueline Wilson's Secrets is the story to get!
