Out of My Mind is a really strong book, meaning that it transmits a lot of emotions and feelings. When Melody was finally able to "talk" I got really excited.
I also loved this story because it really leaves you with the ideas that you have to be thankful to God for your body and that everything is possible if you work for it. I really liked how Sharon Draper gave me sensory imagery. Through her book I could imagine every character just as she described them. I recommend this book to kids who enjoy realistic fiction.
