My Sister Jodie by Jacqueline Wilson – review

Bookworm Reader: 'Jodie means everything to Pearl. She's her sister, her best friend, all until they start attending Melchester College'

Jodie means everything to Pearl. She's her sister, her best friend, all until they start attending Melchester College.

Pearl and Jodie's parents thought it was time to start fresh, and give their daughters the life they needed to turn into 'ladies'. Little do they know that this new lifestyle could ruin everything.

When term starts at Melchester College, Pearl expects to be bullied and picked on, like at her old school. She ends up with loads of new friends – it's her sister who doesn't end up with ANY friends at all. With her crazy ginger hair, earrings, fake tattoos and her attitude, she is in for a shock.

When the 5th of November comes, a tragic accident occurs. Pearl can do nothing to stop it, nobody can. What happens?!

I didn't like the ending of this book – you may, but I didn't at all. So I made up a new ending for My Sister Jodie. It was really fun making up a new ending! If you don't like the ending of a book, why don't you change it too?
