The Wombles Go Round the World by Elizabeth Beresford – review

Robo: 'This is a wonderful, imaginative and cosy book'

This is a wonderful, imaginative and cosy book that I recommend for ages 5 and over.

In this book four of the main wombles set out on a quest to write volume eleven of the wombles history book. In order to make volume eleven, the four brave wombles must travel to every burrow in the world.

Personally my favourite burrow the wombles visited was the American burrow because the American wombles have clockwork computers and clockwork pick-up trucks. If you haven't read the first wombles book don't worry because this one will still make sense (but one thing you might like to know in advance is that Orinoco is quite fat and eats too much!)
