I had the chance to read this book when I had spare time at the weekend, and even though I guessed that I wouldn't finish it, surprisingly, I finished it much faster than I expected!

One of the most fascinating facts about the book is the originality of its plot. The plot twists make this book truly great. This type of detective story reminds me of Agatha Christie's novels which make your heart skip a beat.

There were so many moments when I just had to put the book down, and I said to myself, "I can't believe it!"

Another element I found great was the main character herself, Lisbeth. She perfectly illustrated that appearance doesn't define the essence of someone. Even though she is rejected by society, she demonstrates that she is an incredibly intelligent, emotional and caring person.

I found this book really thoughtful and it clearly shows that behind strange appearances might hide a genius mind.

All in all, I believe The Girl with Dragon Tattoo is the best book I read by far this year and it has a special place in my heart because of that, so I strongly advise everybody to read it!
