Spook’s: Slither’s Tale by Joseph Delaney – review

felixreads2: 'it can be very scary'

Faraway, in a place that is not protected by a spook, Slither lies, awaiting his prey. The family he feeds upon live on a farm that is right next to his tree. Every night he drinks blood from one of the members of the family: the farmer, the big sister, the middle sister and the little sister.

When the father dies, Slither has to get two of the sisters to safety and in return have the oldest sister to do whatever he wants with her.

They begin their journey to the land where Slither's species live. They aren't really human.

Allied with the famous assassin Grimalkin, they have to survive the fight with the Hagenbrood. If this monster merely touches you with its claws, you die in a lot of pain.

I think that this book is very cool because there's a lot of action. Although I like this book, it can be very scary, so depending on how sensitive you are, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone younger than 9 years old.
