I think Trapped was an excellent book which is well worth reading. It is suitable for 12+.

The book is chilling, interesting and exciting- mixing a small amount of romance with suspense. The storyline is unique and original, and the narrator (Scott) tells the story in a way which makes it relatable but also shocking.

The story is about Scott, a 15 yr old boy, who loves basketball. When it starts snowing, and he is still waiting to be picked up, they soon realise that Scott, a teacher and six other kids will have to stay the night. When the teacher wanders off into the night, the seven teenagers are left on their own. They have food- but that doesn't mean they can't freeze to death.

It is memorable because of the vivid description which helps you empathise with the characters and feel as if you are one of the seven trapped in the school.

Overall, this is a memorable, original book which is a must-read.
