My family and other animals is all about a young Gerald Durrell and his family after their move to the colourful town of Corfu in Greece. This book is so vibrant, warm and weird at the same time. People will be fascinated with Durrell's love of natural history, laugh at the adventures the family have on the Bootle-Bumtrinket and the Sea Cow and be amazed by their wacky and wonderful friends, such as Theodore and Lugaretzia.
