The Diabolical Mr Tiddles is about a cat who is quite naughty because he steals things to give to his new owner Harry. The things he steals get more and more funny and mad, until eventually Harry decides to follow him to find out where all the things are coming from. They end up at the palace with Mr Tiddles trying to steal the queens crown, Harry stopping him and Mr Tiddles saving Harry. It all turns out OK in the end, with a bit of help from the queen.
My favourite part of the story is when Mr Tiddles puts all sorts of fun and exciting things in Harry's bedroom because it all looks like fun stuff to play with and I would love to have a horse in my bedroom. If that happened in my room, I would play with it all and have fun, then give it all back. My favourite characters were Mr Tiddles because he always has a good time and has very strange eyebrows. I also liked Alan the horse because he has a big fat tummy. My favourite picture was the map of the town, where you could follow the route that Harry took when he followed Mr Tiddles to see what he was doing. I like the title of the book, although I didn't know what diabolical meant, so Mum had to explain it. It's good to learn a new word and diabolocal is quite a fun word to say. The book was fun to read, had good pictures and a fun story and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
