Like a lot of great children's books the concept is a simple one; Harold goes for a walk one evening armed with just his imagination and a purple crayon.
This is a beautiful children's book and the contrast of wee Harold and the bold drawings of the big crayon work well.
I had never heard of Harold before we read this book, which we have done frequently now.
Minnie likes to point out the moon and I am glad to have had this introduced to us and it is proving a firm favourite.
