The Power of 6 by Pittacus Lore – review

tomfish9: 'I loved this book, because of the cliff hangers and the superhuman powers and fighting'

This book is about John Smith & Marina of the sea, two teenagers from the planet Lorien. The story is about John & Marina growing up as they discover their 'legacies', their superhuman powers.

They escaped from Lorien, which is burning down to its core, chased by Mogadorians who are hunting them down on Earth. The story shifts from John's to Marina's part of the world every chapter or so. This makes the atmosphere very tense and exciting but also it can be tricky to follow.

It's a gripping adventure novel full of cliff hangers and exciting fight scenes.
I'd recommend it for age 10 & over boys and girls. Even though I started it, my mum read it to us as it can be a bit confusing following the storyline.

I loved this book, because of the cliff hangers and the superhuman powers and fighting.
