Penelope Crumb Follows her Nose by Shawn K. Stout – review

Mimi123: 'This is a twisting tale about a girl called Penelope Crumb who goes on a journey to find her long-lost grandpa'

This is a twisting tale about a girl called Penelope Crumb who goes on a journey taking trains and entering people's houses on a real mystery to find her long-lost grandpa.

My favourite part is when Penelope goes on the journey to find her grandpa and she sticks a poster of her grandpa on a mailbox and the owner asks her lots of different questions.

My favourite character is Penelope because she was the one who wanted to go on the adventure and that she has a good sense of imagination.

My least favourite character was Terrible because he was bugging Penelope and taking money off her.

I think this book would be suitable for 8-11 year olds. I really liked it when the author put lots of fascinating words in the book to describe events and things that were happening. Out of what I have read from this book I think I will give it 9/10.
