When her abusive father becomes too much to cope with, Jayni, her mother and her little brother run away to start a new life, giving themselves new identities so he can't find them. Unfortunately their family problems don't exactly come to an end and when Jayni/Lola's Mum is diagnosed with cancer, Auntie Barbara steps in to help.
I thought this book was great. Auntie Barbara was a really good character because she was tough and even though she is overweight she doesn't care what anyone thinks about her.
My favourite part of the book is when Lola, Kendall and Victoria go shopping in London and have a family day. I would recommend this book because it helped me to not be bothered by what I look like, and I found it a very easy book to read. I give it a big 5/5 stars because it is so good!
