Every week a Guardian Money reader submits a question, and it's up to you to help him or her out – a selection of the best answers will appear in next Saturday's paper.
This week's question
I want an e-reader for holidays but am not mad about Amazon's tax policies, so was hoping to avoid buying a Kindle. Are the Kobo, Nook or Sony ones a decent alternative? Or should I carry on filling my suitcase with books from the local independent shop?
