Sky Hawk tells the story of a boy called Callum and his friend Iona who have been keeping a big secret about an osprey.

Sky Hawk is a very emotional and moving story as it sways from tragic loss to uplifting happiness. I was moved by the realism of what happened in this story and was convinced that an event similar to this could happen in real life.

I liked the way that readers of all ages ranging from about 7 up could read and enjoy this fantastic story.

This is a superb book that still has a sense of reality though some of the events are truly magical.

I hope that Gill Lewis will continue to write more books as I think that she is a brilliant author.
