Fancy a snotty Christmas? Timothy Spall and Victoria Wood are starring in Sky1’s new three-part version of Raymond Briggs’s story Fungus the Bogeyman, about a slimy creature who lives underground and spends his days scaring humans.

Spall is playing Fungus alongside Joanna Scanlan as Fungus’s Bogeywife Mildrew, with Victoria Wood as a “Dry Cleaner” who lives nearby, plus Keeley Hawes, Marc Warren, Paul Kaye and Andy Serkis as the narrator.
