The real truth

Artist William Kentridge teams up with Handstring Puppet Company for this powerful production at the Perth festival that looks into the complex history of Apartheid. The team that created Warhorse combined Kentridge’s emotionally impactful animations and puppetry with archival material from South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission hearings to tell this powerful story.

Partying Adelaide-style

Dog’s day night

Surely a dog lover’s dream come true: Speakeasy Cinema and ACCA present a movie night just for dogs. Part of artist Anastasia Klose’s Farnsworth’s Republic for Dogs, it includes the wonderfully surreal feature length montage of dogs in films, Doggie Woggiez Poochie Woochiez.

The Kite String Tangle’s acclaimed Arcadia

Singer songwriter Danny Harley, better known as The Kite String Tangle, will premiere a new live show created as part of the #JDFutureLegends series. The producer combines audio visuals, design and lighting to transform his atmospheric music into an immersive experience.
