Searching For Sky by Jillian Cantor – review

Ayesha 46: 'Reading this book made me wonder what it would be like to live on a deserted Island'

Searching for Sky… Where do I begin? At first it took me a while to get used to the book, but once I did I just couldn't stop reading.
This book is about a young girl's struggle to find River (who is my favourite character and whose identity I won't give away) and revolves around how different their worlds are.

Reading this book made me wonder what it would be like to live on a deserted Island: to hunt fish for dinner, to eat wild berries and such. It all sounds horrible. This is what Sky thinks of our world; well, California.

It is a really good read with a very different storyline which I really liked. I would recommend this book to anyone aged 13+.
