Helen and Eunice are sisters. Their mother is always pushing them to do auditions for talent shows. The reason they don't get very far is because Helen has the voice but does not look anything like a pop-star while Eunice is stunning and has an awful voice.

This is a humorous book and Helen is my favourite character because she puts up with people admiring her sister for her looks and calling her names. When they get disqualified by a judge their Mum goes mad which is really funny. I haven't read anything else by Paul Magrs but will definitely try others.

The only thing about it I didn't like was the fact it finished on a cliffhanger, as I would have liked to know what happened next. I recommend this book to readers who like a funny story with lots of events through it and I give this book 4.5/5.
