First of all, I must say that this is one of the books which grips your whole attention and, even more, makes you think about your life in a philosophical manner.
A truly wonderful thing about this book is that it shows the actions of the main character in a philosophical way. It illustrates the fact that everything in life is related in a cause-effect manner. This perspective might be of a great interest for those who study philosophy or those who would like to.
Besides the plot and main character, I was gripped by the presence of a mysterious character, Melhedisek. He is the one who spreads the words of wisdom and helps the main character. I love the fact that til the end he remains the same mysterious character and the reader is left to wonder who he really is.
In conclusion, I believe it is a great book to read and I thoroughly advise every single person to read it, especially those who are interested in philosophy.
