A very exciting book about Polly who is an evacuee in the Second World War, along with her friend, Vera, who is evacuated to the same family as her, along with a set of twins.

They were evacuated to Cornwall where there is certainly a lot of adventures to be had! With some beautiful illustrations to accompany the entertaining text, it is a really good, short read to entertain you for a few nights!
