This book is a brilliant book for boys with plenty of action (maybe too much even!) and is a good book to get children more interested in science as well.
The basic plot is that a young boy called Infinity, or Finn, goes on a holiday with his scientist uncle which turns into a mission to avert disaster as a dangerous creature threatens the human race. Finn didn't plan to get caught up in any of this, and somehow ends up only 9mm tall! This book has many sub-plots which make it interesting to read, but sometimes it's a bit confusing having to remember lots of names and who's who!
Some of the subjects the book deals with are quite grown-up and the language is fairly advanced, so I would recommend this book to children aged 11 and upwards. For me the book was a bit slow and tedious in places and some of the weaponry terms were confusing. I would rate this book 7/10 because, while it was a good read, it was slow-paced and confusing sometimes.
