I very much enjoyed this book. I was delighted to find that the first book of his that I would be reading involves multi-universes, a literary topic in which I am particularly interested in.
The story follows a boy called Joey Harker, who accidentally travels to an alternate dimension where he, along with several other alternate Joeys, must battle the "Power-hungry forces of magic and science."

All in all I would recommend this book to anyone who likes sci-fi, and I'm sure this goes along well with some of Neil Gaiman's other books. I am planning on reading The Silver Dream next which is the sequel to Interworld.
