TinTin: The Crab with the Golden Claws by Herge

I thought this book was just as interesting as the Youtube video is. I love Tintin's personality in this book, because it was a mix of Arabian and European. This book has a lot of humour, wit and mystery in it. As usual, Tintin has a mystery to solve. Will he be able to do it? Or will he fail?

This wonderful mystery has been set in the gloriously dangerous sand dunes of Arabia. Haddock is crazier than ever, and Snowy stays just as adorable as he's always been.

Horrible Histories: The Blitzed Brits by Terry Deary

This is a nice book, but it would have been better had it been in the comic strip you usually get because it is better that way. There are more illustrations. The book is quite informative and tells you about what life was like in the Second World War and what Britain was like during the Second World War.

I particularly liked the rhymes and poems in the book.

Bad Girls by Jacqueline Wilson

Bad girls is a heart melting book based on the bad influence of a girl named Tanya who makes friends with Mandy white, the star of bad girls. Mandy is being bullied at school by her ex best friend Melanie and Melanie's new best friends Sarah & Kim.

This is when Tanya jumps into the picture & defends Mandy from Kim, Sarah & Melanie. Mandy thinks Tanya is great but then their friendship is put to the test when Tanya starts shop-lifting. When Tanya is sent to the juvenile court for shop-lifting, will Mandy ever be able to see Tanya again???
