Return of The Hundred-Mile-An-Hour Dog by Jeremy Strong – review

ChristopherW: 'It's one of my favourite Jeremy Strong books'

Streaker is no ordinary dog, she's a hundred-mile-an-hour dog!

This is the second book about Streaker by Jeremy Strong. Trevor is Streaker's owner and he and his friend get into lots of adventures together because of Trevor's super fast dog, Streaker.

In this book Streaker causes some trouble when she knocks the mayor's daughter Belinda into some mud. Belinda's father is very cross and wants Streaker to be put down. He says that Streaker has to be entered in a dog competition: as long as she's not actually disqualified she won't be put down. But it will take a lot of training to stop Streaker from causing even more disasters at the show!

Jeremy Strong is one of my favourite authors because he's pretty funny. I've read quite a few of his books now. I love the first story about Streaker, which was called 'The Hundred-Mile-An-Hour Dog'. I think Streaker is a great character and this story is brilliant.

I wasn't really worried about Streaker too much, because Jeremy Strong's stories usually have happy endings so I didn't really think she would be put down. It was quite exciting story though and I read it very quickly.

This wasn't quite as good as 'The Hundred-Mile-An-Hour Dog', but I still really liked it. It's one of my favourite Jeremy Strong books and I really hope he writes some more adventures for Streaker!
