Repa and Amirah: 'From the moment Amirah set eyes on this book she was really excited'

From the moment Amirah set eyes on this book she was really excited and couldn't wait to open it. It is a take on the traditional Cinderella fairytale, but with Prince Charming and Cinderella replaced with elephants, and other animals.
Its illustrations are very bright and captured Amirah's attention; she loved pointing out the different animals and objects on each page. The front cover was slightly embossed with glitter and she loved the feeling of the glittery shoes. Her obsession at the moment is shoes so she really loved the story and couldn't wait to turn each page to point to the cinderelephant's pink shoes.

It was a lovely read and Amirah must love it too as I always find her reading the book to her toys!
