The House of Silk by Anthony Horowitz – review

Leila: 'It is exciting, punchy, tense and there is always some intrigue going on'

Out of the seven books I have read so far in the Christmas holidays, one of my favourites has been The House Of Silk - the new Sherlock Holmes book - by Anthony Horowitz.
It is exciting, punchy, tense and there is always some intrigue going on. You find yourself trying to work out what will happen next but it always turns out to be the unexpected.

The story is about Sherlock and Dr Watson trying to find out what and where the House of Silk is, after they find the body of a boy on the street; that is the worst, most gruesome part even though it isn't too bad. Except for that it is adventurous, funny and mysterious.
Overall it's a very good book, I enjoyed it a lot.
