Ross Sinclair Sinclair has the words REAL LIFE tattooed across his back. This is the title of the art project he has pursued in venues and community contexts in Scotland and abroad; the latest stage is a commission by the Fruitmarket Gallery, near the Scottish Parliament. Sinclair recreates the St Kilda Parliament, a democratic, non-hierarchical institution through which the islanders of St Kilda governed themselves. Fruitmarket Gallery, Market St, Edinburgh (0131-225 2383) until November 6.

Harley Gallery, Welbeck, near Worksop (01909-501700) until November 7.
